シカゴ在住のコレクター。ソウルやファンクはもとより、ジャズやサイケまで、幅広い知識とコレクションを有する。徹底した探究心と最深部まで見通す鋭い眼力で、多くのディスカヴァリーを世に送り出しきた。レア・ファンクのコンピレーション『Midwest Funk』の全面サポートを初め、多くのリリースにも関わっている。また、オハイオのソウル〜ファンク４５ｓのリリースをまとめたウェブ・サイト"Ohio Soul Recordings"の制作も行っている。シーンの重要人物である。

ロンドンに生まれ、1980年代から同地のジャズやソウル／ファンクのシーンで活動を始める。1990年代半ばにはKeb Darge、Snowboyと共にイヴェント"Legendary Deep Funk"のオリジナル・メンバーとして活躍。1990年代後半に日本に移住してからも、SEARCHINGやBEBOP SQUAREといったイヴェントを立ち上げるなど、積極的に活動している。
