シカゴのジャズ組織AACMの初期メンバーであり、後にArt Ensemble Of Chicagoの一員として世界的に活躍するサックス奏者、Joseph Jarmanの作品。静謐ななか緊張感が漂う「As If It Were The Seasons」、神秘的で美しい「Song To Make The Sun Come Up」、構築の妙と即興の熱狂を合わせ持つ「Song For Christopher」を収録。Richard Abrams、Fred Anderson、John Stubblefieldなどが参加。
